Clear, upfront requirements so you know before you apply. All rentals are subject to verification and a signed rental agreement.
Basic requirements
Minimum age
21 years old
Driver's license
Valid North Carolina license (out-of-state requires proof of residency)
Service area
Live and work within 45 miles of Raleigh
Minimum rental period
7 days
Verification by use type
Gig & delivery drivers
Must provide verifiable work history. Platform eligibility (Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, etc.) must be confirmed by the renter — we do not guarantee platform acceptance.
Personal-use renters
Must provide income verification.
All renters
Identity verification is required. We never request Social Security numbers, full driver's license numbers, license photos, or sensitive identity documents in the initial lead form. Sensitive verification happens through a secure process after your inquiry.
Insurance
Insurance is not included in the rental. A separate personal insurance policy is not currently a general prerequisite under the stated business policy, but applicable coverage, permitted vehicle use, platform requirements, and legal obligations must be confirmed before rental. We do not imply that customers can legally operate uninsured or that any vehicle is automatically authorized by a rideshare platform.
